Each week, the Apartments.com Photography Team selects a photo taken by one of our Digital Photographers that truly represents the type of photographs that Apartments.com uses to showcase a property. These images are not only really successful at capturing the space and architecture of a property, but they are all-around great photos!
The photo of the week this week was shot by Team Lead Dan Kohler in Smyrna, GA.
The Photography team all agrees that Dan’s photo really gives a good sense of the apartment’s space. According to Mandana Namvar, Director of Digital Photography, “This is a quality image because we’re able to get a good sense of the whole apartment layout from one image – where the kitchen is in relation to the dining/living area and the bedroom.”
Casey Sachen, our Manager of Photography – Eastern Region, agrees, saying that Dan “was able to show off four amenities: the kitchen, living room, desk, and dining area in one image, giving the viewer a really solid idea of what the apartment looks like.”
Vern Steinman, Manager of Digital Photography – Western Region, points out that the image “has good, even lighting” and exposure in a space that could easily have uneven bright and dark areas (e.g. the farther back the apartment goes, the darker it usually shows up in a photo).
