Silver Lake

Silver Lake is a predominately residential neighborhood stretching east from the shores of the lake that gives the neighborhood its name. With easy access to Interstate 5, nearby shopping areas, and a short commute to large employers such as Boeing, the area makes an ideal home for those looking for reasonable home prices without straying too far from the employment and entertainment centers of Seattle. The commercial areas of Silver Lake primarily occupy shopping centers lining Highway 527 and Highway 96. Aside from its eponymous lake, the community is home to several smaller lakes, most of which are accessible only from private land.

Silver Lake sits at the southeast corner of the city of Everett, bordering with the town of Mill Creek. Downtown Seattle lies twenty-five miles to the south along Interstate 5, downtown Bellevue lies about the same distance to the southeast, and downtown Everett lies 5 miles to the north.
