Use only appropriate sites in your ad network. Apartments.com does not allow any Web site or any content that displays adult, violent, illegal or gambling related material. Apartments.com also does not allow links in ad networks that utilize incentives/offers for sending leads. This includes points, coupons, or loyalty programs that promise rewards for completing an action. Publishers promoting the FRBO sale action may use incentives/offers for posting a Rental listing. Contact us to submit a list of sites that you will use to promote Apartments.com.

Chose relevant sites fitting to the Apartments.com target audience. Use geo-targeting when possible.

Direct traffic to any page on Apartments.com -- you can link to thousands of pages on the Apartments.com. As well, create any link you want by Creating Apartments.com URLs.

Ad Network Best Practices

• Look through the creatives that Apartments.com has provided, but also consider text links and other type of integrations that might be more content relevant and use less space.

Track by site with SID – (Shopper Identification)
CJ provides the capability for publishers to track their different channel’s and partner’s performance through the SID. To utilize this functionality, a publisher simply appends a “?SID=ShopperID_Value” or “&SID=ShopperID_Value” (Note that if you use another variable, such as “?URL=” for URL Redirection, you MUST use the ampersand “&”) to their tracking codes; many publishers include a unique descriptor of their different channels and partners such as “localinfo,” “realestate,” etc. Commission Junction will auto-detect this additional value and include it in their reports making it easy for a publisher to better optimize their campaign.
