Maintenance: They come for basic issues pretty fast except for the internet which I will cover next. Amenities: It is like I am back in 1995 with dial up. We pay for 5 mbps we get .4 to .8 on a good day. I can't stream a movie. I can't play video games and I can't watch videos for online school. The office keeps saying they will fix it ( issue since 2-22-2013 ) yet we pay full price every month for this service. We have this fully documented through email and screenshots. Other tenants we meet in the playground/elevator/ parking lot have the same issue. Noise: The walls are as thin as onion paper. I hear Everything from all the neighbors above and around me. Non stop stomping. You can hear cupboards shutting....Seriuosly. I would not recommend this place to anyone............. May 15, 2013

I recently applied for an apt at Birkhill and they are still in the building process, but I like the neighborhood, the amenities and the office staff has been awesome! The apts are rent controlled, based on income, so there are income caps, if you make too much you cannot rent from them... for someone with a limited income, this is a really great deal. The rents are low and they offer media packages for a great price. You can get tv, phone and internet for around $60 a month. I like the fact that each unit includes a washer/dryer and INDOOR PARKING. January 1, 2013
