Rated 1 out of 5?by Unhappy Renters The workers in the front office need some serious attitude adjustments. I feel as though when they first start working there they are really nice but soon become jaded within the workplace and follow the lead of their manager. For someone to be the face of your company you would think a little more time would be put forth choosing the way you interact with your residents. It is torture to have to go into the office to deal with them even for something as small as picking up a package, my husband and I literally do rock, paper, scissors as to who has to deal with them! Our lease will be ending soon and we are counting down the days! I would NEVER recommend anyone live in these apartments. The only good thing I can say about these apartments is maintenance is always fast and there are free air filters in the office. March 15, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5?by Great office staff!! I have lived at The Landmark at SL for over three years now and I am sad to say that my time here is up. But that is fantastic news for which ever lucky family gets my old apartment because it is (in my best opinion) the absolute best location this complex has to offer. Although this will only apply to you if you have children because my apartment is 10 steps from an adorable and safe playground. The play area is a little small and is seriously lacking swings (which there is plenty of room to add) but the good outshines the bad with the location of the park being a safe distance from the parking lot and surrounded by tons of grass for the kids to run around in. Another pro/con for our little park area is the currents dog owning residents, who for what ever reason don't feel the need to pick up their dogs' droppings; but on many occasions in the early morning I have seen a maintenance man with a trash bag, gloves and a trash picker out cleaning up others messes. Speaking of the maintenance workers here, they are AMAZING! If I have ever had a problem with my apartment, or needed any type of maintenance they have always shown up quickly and done great work. There have been a lot of positive aspects in my review but my years here have not been perfect. For starters, I live in the "2nd phase" of this complex and to get from the gate to my building I have to drive over at least 7 speed bumps. I know 7 doesn't should like a lot, but doing that multiple times a day for 3 years is a big overwhelming and I am almost certain that it has caused some sort of lasting damage to my car. Also, I understand that when you live in an apartment you must allow for more noise, specifically neighbor noise but the fact I can hear my upstairs neighbor turn on their bath water and hear the water rushing through the pipes for the entire time they are bathing is a bit much. This may not be the case for everyone because I am pretty sensitive to noises but I have lived in many apartments and never have I been able to so clearly hear my neighbors walk, open doors or know when their microwave is finished cooking. But luckily for me the office staff here is VERY patient and VERY reasonable. Throughout my time here I have made quite a few "calls" to the office complaining about one thing or another and I honestly expected to be brushed off (at times I deserved it) or passed off to someones "superior" but I never was. Either the staff here is extremely well trained on how to deal with irate (and/or at times insane) residents or the actually care. In my personal opinion the office staff is well trained on how to speak and interact with their residents and as an added bonus they actually do care about are living experience her, and honestly do want it to be as pleasurable as possible. As for me, I try and do all my apartment business (pay rent, ask questions, call and complain to, etc.) with the same office person every time, and luckily for me my "business contact" (Nicole or Nikki Hart) actually lives here and can relate to my issues, but she is an amazing worker and an extraordinary individual. With out Nikki and the entire office staff (maintenance team included) I would never have stayed here as long as I have and I thank you for making the last three and a half years an amazing experience.
