Rated 5 out of 5?by san33 Growing Pains ending Construction is coming to an end and the complex is finally coming together. There were some growing pains with a brand new complex and moving in within the first couple of months of its existence. Construction had a timeline which meant weekend construction could be heard at 7 am but now that is not an issue. The place is beautiful and my apartment is perfect for what I need. You get what you pay for in the clubhouse, the resort style pool and the service. The staff makes an effort to get to know the residents. They refer to me by name when they see me and there are monthly opportunities to get to know your neighbors. The dog area is complete but many people (like in most places I know) do not clean up after their dogs anywhere on the property. Each building has its own indoor hallways which are a nice feature making it feel like my friends' apartments closer to town. In my own 1 bedroom apartment, I love the design. The kitchen layout is perfect and large. The bathroom is large with a great tub for relaxing and the closet is the envy of many friends (I keep half of my office in the closet). If you don't mind paying the price, this place is worth it. July 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5?by Jean52 Excellent location; nice community This is an excellent apartment community. From the very first day that I walked through the office door I new this would be my new home. The staff was very friendly, informative, and helpful. We visited their model apartments; and I was very impressed (wood floors, spacious closet space, open concept kitchens, large bedrooms, garages and inside entry to my new home which helps to keep me out of the weather while entering or exiting my apartment). The location is awesome. Restaurants, mall, stores, fitness center, spas; and all within walking distance. I love it!! April 22, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5?by sweetpeame2369 The Apartment Community thus far... The apartment complex is brand new...and i mean BRAND NEW. There are 3 buildings within the complex that are actually open, all the others are still under construction. So lets start with the Pros thus far: 1.They have a great clubhouse! Lots of room with a pool table, shuffleboard table, espresso/latte machine (free to use whenever), many huge screen TV's, a gorgeous kitchen, and 4 computers (2 Apple, 2 HP) for the community to use. 2.They have a 24-hour gym. It is fully equipped with everything you could think of including free weights, medicine balls, and core balls of different sizes. They also have a "cycling room" which you can either pop in your own cycling DVD into the TV and workout, OR you can push the bikes aside and do your workout videos. 3.The swimming pools. There is NO hot tub (although they have plenty of room for one), but they do have a 2 lane 25-yard swimming pool, 1 kiddie pool, and 1 lounge pool. None of the pools are deep at all. 4.The brand new apartment look. The granite countertops are glowing, the carpet is plush, the toilets...never been sat on! Now for the Cons: 1.Although the clubhouse is great, it closes by 10 or 10:30. It doesn't make sense cause they have cameras all over the place, but oh well. 2. The brand new plush apartment seems it could have been put together a little better. Within 2 weeks of moving in we needed maintenance to come out. Wind was howling through our door because the weather stripping wasn't on correctly or isn't very good....you could (and still can) see straight out into the hallway under the door. The building is settling and our door needed to be realigned because it was getting stuck. We have found rusty nails on our carpet (YES, by stepping on them), and LOTS of little concrete pieces all over. A little vacuuming would have been nice before we moved in. 3.We essentially live on a construction site. The side facing the main street is also listening to sweet sounds of construction as a medical clinic is being built across the street next to Sams. 4. Parking right now is ridiculous. Because of construction, there isn't very much parking, and frankly it doesn't look like there will be much once its finished either. AND, with all the construction comes TONS and TONS of dirt, don't expect nice clean cars. 5. Pet fees. Now, normally i wouldn't complain because everywhere i've lived, the pet fee is about 400, which is what it is here. HOWEVER, everywhere else i have lived ends it there. THIS apartment complex then expects you to pay 15.00/pet/month afterwards. Its a little excessive considering the rent is way to high for what we are going through with an unfinished complex. 6. Not enough grassy area/ pet waste stations. Currently, after i park my car and head up to my apartment, i get the nice smell of dog poo. Why? There are two tiny grass areas by the parking lot where most people take their dogs but there are NO waste pick up stations. And without the convenience of waste bags and baskets...the the age of very extremely lazy people, you will not see anyone picking up any dog stuffs.7.Although the complex makes you sign a form acknowledging that it is allowed to have your satellite dish outside on your patio, this complex does not allow you to have ANYTHING but AT&T Uverse. They are extremely expensive. And dont listen the leasing office when they tell you to call AT&T and let them know you live on an AT&T exclusive property for discounts...AT&T gives no discounts. AND LAST BUT MOST DEF NOT LEAST 8. This complex REFUSES to ever answer the phone. You can hear the different ring when they send your call to an automated line which asks you to leave a message. And that's all fine, good and dandy...BUT they NEVER RETURN ANY CALLS. I've left numerous messages and not once gotten a call back. Got a noise complaint? SORRY,you will never get through to these people. If and when this complex improves and as time passes,i will def leave more reviews. March 25, 2013
