Rated 4 out of 5?by Safe, Clean, and Well Maintained... I moved in to one of Richmont Square's one bedroom apartments about 2 months a go. I like how picturesque the apartment community looks once you walk through the main gates: there's two swimming pools, lots of outdoor decoration (beautiful fountain, little gardens, places to sit and read, talk, or lounge), it's well lit at night, and residents all seem to take care of their surroundings- you won't find trash and dilapidated objects scattered about the walkways. That said, the apartments are definitely not spacious. I couldn't even fit a garbage can into my kitchen. It's also hard to get to know people, even your next door neighbor, because the community is so big and it seems most residents keep to themselves. There is a washer/dryer room on sight (apparently two, but the place is so big, I'd literally get lost trying to find the other one), and the machines are in relatively good working condition. It costs $1.25 for one load of wash and $1.00 for dryer. Sometimes it feels a bit lonely, because there are so many people around, but so little connection between them. Of course, there's the obvious exception of the many college students who are rooming together or know each other and hang out in common areas outside or one of their apartments. The only bus stop that's close by is #25. November 3, 2012
