Rated 3 out of 5?by Honest Office Staff is Terrible This is a safe and quiet place to live. I've been living here for the past 18 months and I can honestly say that. Now, the one BIG problem is, the office staff, they just won't answer the phone and they just forget to send the maintenance people whenever you have something that needs to be fixed. They do this ALL THE TIME! I find myself having to go 2-3 times every time I need something fixed in my apartment. I wish they could change the staff and then I wouldn't be writing about how bad they are. August 29, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5?by heart_matters80 Happy until...... I moved into El Gran Sol Apartment in December of 2011. From the moment I moved in, I had a problem with bugs. Within a week, I contacted them to report the problem, and they came in and treated the issue; however, it didn't get rid of the bugs. I contacted them a few more times and requested that they have someone to treat the unit. From December to March I had them to come out consistently because the bugs were still in the unit. It got so bad that I actually went to the store and stocked up on several different bug sprays and traps to attempt to get rid of them. After I could no longer take it, I took a sample of bug to a pest control company, who informed me that the bugs were actually bed bugs. I contacted the leasing office immediately to inform them about the bed bugs. Once they contacted me, they said that they would have to speak with the office manager because it was possible that I would have to be charged for the treatment. I talked to them on Monday to inform them of the issue; however, they didn't have the dwelling treated until the following week. I attempted to stay in the apartment one night, but opted to stay at a hotel after seeing a bed bug crawling up the wall. I stayed in hotels for the entire week; but had to after no longer being able to do that, I went out of state to stay with relatives due to the fact that I had no relatives in the state. As a result I lost my job, and spoke with leasing agents on numerous occasions and was informed that they would have office manager to call me; which never happened. Finally, I found an e-mail address for her; and she informed me that eviction had taken place and that all of my belongings had been removed and disposed of. I literally lost everything except the clothes that I took with me; and they unfortunately showed no compassion towards the situation whatsoever. June 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5?by Mary Wonderful Place To Live When I was looking for apartment to move, I noticed El Gran Sol apartments on my way to drop son at HCC. I met Marta (El Gran Sol staff) at the unit. She was very patient and showed us around the property. The price was very good and apartment was clean and delivered on time as promised. I've lived here now for 4 months and am glad that I made this move to El Gran Sol. March 15, 2013
