Rated 1 out of 5?by MM Think Twice Before Leasing at The Verandahs The Verandahs My husband and I have lived here since August 2012. Here are some of the many problems. - No control over heat/ac. Property decides when to switch the heat on and we have spent many cold nights when this was not done. When they do decide to switch the heat, it never works properly and there is an extremely loud swishing sound throughout the pipes in our unit. So not only is it cold but we cannot sleep because it is noisy. - They charge a rediculously high utility fee. I have never spent so much on my bills even when living in a larger house. - Occasional disgusting brown water comes thru piping. This happens at least once a month with no warning. Hopefully when this happens you are not taking a shower or doing your laundry. This also comes thru the ice maker. This is the worst issue to me and I have been told that it cannot be fixed due to the age of the property. - Parking is extremely limited. - New pool rules only allow 1 guest per unit. This is rediculous since our property has 2 pools that are never over crowded. - Many cosmetic issues such as broken closet doors and foul orders from sink. - Old and disgusting dishwasher. These are some of the many issues at this property so please take this into consideration when deciding to live here. May 13, 2013
