Rated 1 out of 5?by Anonymous New management is absolutely terrible I have lived in this complex since it was first built, when it was owned by Archstone. It was a pretty great place to live during that time, but there have been consistent problems with noise (the walls are thin). Since Carroll Management took over, however, the complex has gone very far downhill. The office staff is very rude, and the office manager Dana is especially rude. I have had an ongoing problem with my apartment for some time now and whenever I try to talk to Dana about it, she gets very forceful and tries to act as if she is not responsible for maintenance of the apartment. There is also quite a bit of dog refuse all over the complex because they don't clean it up and they aren't very forceful about residents cleaning it up. The complex common areas are not well-maintained and everything just looks unclean. The rent has been raised a great deal, as well. I am paying almost $300 more on this lease than I was on my first (this is my third lease)--I only stayed because I had enjoyed living there and it was convenient, but this was before it was announced that Archstone had been bought. It is definitely not worth what I pay for, and the management has caused me so many headaches that I cannot wait to move out at the end of my lease. It is such a shame, because this place was great before. The only good things about this complex are the location and maintenance. The location is very close to all kinds of shopping such as Target, HEB, and WalMart. The maintenance staff is always super friendly and have been so helpful in getting things done promptly (except for the maintenance issue that I have had ongoing, but that is due to the office staff).
