Attention all fellow Susquehanna International Group Employees and Drexel students/graduates. Please steer away of this apartment. Scam alert. Warning to all potential renters. Management can charge upwards of 5k in move-out charges, related to preexisting damages and fraudulent charges.

I strongly advise against renting from Rittenhouse Hill Apartments due to their dishonest and predatory move-out practices. After living in the apartment for two years, I was hit with unfair charges totaling $815, despite thoroughly documenting the unit’s poor condition when I moved in. I provided my Move-In Inspection Sheet, which clearly recorded pre-existing damage, yet management completely ignored this and falsely claimed the damage occurred during my tenancy. When I tried to dispute the charges, management was dismissive, refusing to acknowledge my documentation and instead insisting their charges were justified. Worse, I later found out from the new tenant that the so-called “necessary replacements” never even happened! That means they’re flat-out stealing money from tenants by charging for fake replacement. If you’re considering moving here, be prepared to fight for your security deposit and deal with a management team that lacks integrity. I will be escalating this matter to the Fair Housing Commission to investigate their unethical business practices. Rent elsewhere if you value honesty and fair treatment.

They have very poor quality of appliances, all the spaces are dirty most of the time and they charge you for unlocking your apartment if you locked out… the personnel behavior is unacceptable…!

this building and the “beautiful amenities” they are advertising are being run into the ground by the awful property management. every elevator is somehow always broken and out of order every day. there is trash and dog poop everywhere. there is no pool security so it’s always disgusting and dirty. parking is a mess (that you have to pay $50 a month for!!) and they’ve gotten rid of the security guard at the gate, so now cars are being broken into. they do not take care of the trees around the parking lot, so there are trees and branches constantly falling on cars. what a waste of my time and money to live in this hell hole. what makes it worse is that property management does not care at all. they are condescending and rude and honestly just terrible at their jobs. save yourself the stress and avoid at all costs!!

Location is tucked away is a peaceful campus. The building looks like it is well maintained and the apartment is nicely updated. Didn’t give 5 stars because gate is not guarded as promised, gym equipment is not well maintained, and request fro maintenance or general questions often go unanswered or not timely. The assigned parking is a bonus and worth the $$$.

I love living here everyday feels brand new to me while being here. I have not regretted my decision since whenever I need something fixed they come here and do it the next day. It’s been a month and I’m liking it so far. Plus the staff are very friendly

Moving across the country is not easy but Samantha and Timothy made this process so much less stressful! Our daughter needed a safe place to rent with lovely amenities and local people that would be knowledgeable and kind. Samantha stepped our daughter through all the rental details and even contacted our daughter when Samantha had a vacation day! In addition we had a major hiccup with some packages getting lost and redelivered while our daughter was not yet in PA and Timothy went above and beyond in helping us navigate this stressful situation also and got things stored for us until her arrival. It’s nice to know there are reliable and kind people at the Rittenhouse to help! Thank you Samantha and Timothy for going above and beyond!!

Love living here - I've been here for almost 3 months and despite wanting a bigger apartment, I end up staying here :). Just a bummer the prices seem to keep going up for rent

I truly enjoy living here. The apartment is nice and the amenities are convenient. The concierge staff go above and beyond (Rujai, Jason and Thomas). Location is convenient to the city. Maintenance and upkeep of building could use some work but not terrible. I would totally recommend.

I've been living at Rittenhouse Hill for the past two years and really love it! The whole complex is modern and clean, to top it off it has a secure gatehouse and plenty of on-site parking including a garage. The amenities are incredible! They offer daily fitness classes, have a great backyard to lay by the pool and plenty of social spots to hang out with friends.

I've been living at Rittenhouse for about a year and a half now. Overall, my experience has been great. The apartments are modern. Compared to the other buildings in the area, the amenities are really what make this place stand out. I don't have a pet, but the complex is very pet friendly. There's a dog park out back and a doggy day care in the basement. There's also a pool, hot tub, lounge chairs, tennis and basketball courts, and outdoor grills; all of which are open to residents 24/7, anytime of the year. Management even hosts parties and small gatherings throughout the year. They've recently opened the guest lounge which is a great place to study (I'm a student) and relax with friends. The management and staff are also very friendly and always willing to help. The only 'con' I would say is that rent is a little pricey, but if you're like me and you don't mind spending a few extra dollars for comfort then I would totally recommend you give this place a try.

Everything apartment is brand new. Not new paint, and fixtures, I mean everything is new. These apartments were torn down to the bones and rebuilt. Hardwood floors, clean lines, and sexy bathrooms and kitchens will make you a happy tenant. Not to mention all the extras that come with rent: Gate security service that keeps your car safe (yes, all parking is secured with 24hr cameras), infinity pool, hot tub, outdoor grills, basketball/tennis court, reading garden, fire pits and outdoor lounge ares, pet friendly, large dog run, gym and separate workout room with trainers that hold workout classes (yes included in rent), concierge service, and free valet service. This apartment building surpasses any other building anywhere near it. If something breaks down or needs repair. it will be fixed the next day if not the same day. My wife and I have lived here for three years and we are always referring people here after they tell us the horror stories they have lived through. This apartment building is worth every penny and more in my book.

I've lived at Rittenhouse Hill going on 2 years now. The amenities are really great and it's clean and well kept. I always get compliments on how awesome the complex is and how beautiful the layout is. I really do like living here. The PRO's are: convenient walk to Chelten Ave train station, great for dog-owners (outside receptacles and doggy bags spread across property, beautiful amenities, nice atmosphere, front desk staff always pleasant. The only reason I did not give the complex 5 stars is the inconsistency- management has changed since I moved there, the doggy day care closed unexpectedly, a new garage was built and parking is always a mess, no visitor parking on the weekends. This could be that they are still doing work to the property but it does get annoying at times. But otherwise, I really enjoy the apartment.

Rittenhouse Hill apartments makes you feel like you're living at a resort. There are loads of amenities which include, a proper gym and weight room, a pool and hot tub, a lounge area, a large backyard area with grills, lawn furniture, fire pits, a basketball court, dog parks, and yoga garden. There are also free group training classes and a juice bar on premises. We've enjoyed living at Rittenhouse Hill for the past two years. Having a washer and dryer in our closet makes laundry a breeze. My wife takes advantage of the huge soaking tub after stressful days. It felt like we were on holiday. That being said, over the past year the building seems to be trending towards residents in their early twenties. Many of the new residents are just out of college and starting their first real jobs or going on to grad/med school. In common areas, it can feel like you are back in college rather than in a professional community. This trend has prompted us to look into other housing interests since it is the side of resorts that we are less keen upon. In addition, parking has become a nightmare; however, management has plans to create more outdoor parking spots. If you can handle the good and bad things with resort living, Rittenhouse Hill Apts is for you.
