Rated 2 out of 5?by Don't move here Prices went up for a complex going downhill
Parking is a disaster. Very outdated...I'm 6'3 and the showerhead is lower than my neck...gas fireplace hasn't worked since I moved in...Washer/dryer are half-size stackable and have to cycle both of them twice...Walls/trim/baseboards are in bad shape....both pools are always under construction and never open. My neighbors toilet clogged and overflowed in the middle of the night and half my apartment was flooded, manager refused to replace my carpet, only steamcleaned, nor was the carpet replaced before I moved in because there are bleach spots and stains in it. If you clean anything the multiple layers of paint will start rubbing off on bathroom sink, countertops, etc. I cannot stress enough how bad the parking situation is, and you will never be allowed to have guests because there are zero extra parking spots...My parking spot is about 150yds away from my door because I have to walk all the way around the building (wouldn't feel comfortable with that if I was a woman by myself# plus the covered parking spots are extremely tight if you don't drive an economy car. Windows are still being replaced after being boarded up from a hailstorm in May....it's now December. Prices have gone up at least $60 per month for 1br's since I moved in 10 months ago, and I can't figure why because nothing is replaced, only painted over or cleaned. There are no lights or ceiling fans in my living room...One light in the corner of the bedroom and no ceiling fan. Blinds are old and the windows that weren't damaged during the hailstorm require alot of force to open and won't stay open without something holding them up. Nobody cleans up their dog turds. I see some rather rough looking folks hanging around outside the apts lately and I never saw that going on when I moved in, and I see a guy, possibly a homeless man climbing in dumpsters and removing things multiple times a week around 7am. We've gotten 4 or 5 letters on our doors throughout the last 6 months or so because the city shut off the water #that is paid by the complex) for "maintenance". During a storm in August the big wooden sign that looked ridiculous from NW Expressway blew over and knocked the fence down from the West side of the tennis courts...wooden sign was disposed of, but the chain link fence is STILL bent over onto the tennis court...which is still open to residents and I see kids playing around the bent over fence all the time!! This place has turned into a slum since I moved in and luckily I won't be here much longer.
