Rated 1 out of 5?by user200000 Do not move here I have lived in Summerfield Place for a year and a half. I really enjoyed living here for the first couple of months. They are very nice looking apartments, lovely floorplan and I love the area, but the apartments are very old and I have encountered a lot of problems. 1) the water is shut off on a regular basis without notice. It happens at least once a week. Sometimes multipe times in one day, usually at very inconvenient hours. It has been turned off a couple of times while I was showering and getting ready for work. & you do pay a monthly water bill to them, so its very frustrating when they shut it off. 2) I have called about many problems with the dishwasher, garabage disposal, and toilet. Maintenance responded quickly but didn't fix the problem and I had to call everyday for over a week for the problem to be fixed correctly. 3) There is a large vent in the living room for the heating and air. It is extremely loud and annoying. You can't hear over the television when it comes on. It gets very hot or cold in the living room when its running and its the only area in the house you can actually feel it. The rest of the vents work very poorly and its usually either freezing in the winter or very hot during the summer in the bedroom and bathroom. I would NOT recommend living here. Staff is very friendly and the appearance is nice but it is not worth the price. Rent has gone up 3 times since I've lived here and went up another $20 during my lease renewal, so I decided to move somewhere else. & if you want a decent parking space you have to pay an additional $15 a month.
