Rated 3.3 out of 5?by 6 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5?by This apartment community is less that satisfactory This apartment has been nothing but a headache from the day my roommate and I moved in. We feel as though we are being harassed by management and we have been nothing but understanding up until this point. At the time of our move-in nothing was organized. We weren't given an apartment audit form, key fobs to enter the gates, pool passes, or working keys. Essentially all the basics were missed. On top of that our apartment was not cleaned before our move-in, as promised. Our second day in the apartment we were locked out because our keys only worked in the deadbolt lock. The maintenance team had to drill into our door knob because they didn't even have a key to the lock. The manager at the time said the previous tenant installed that lock which was why they didn't have a key to it. I found this particularly disturbing because although they claimed to have changed our locks prior to our move-in date they clearly hadn't. Prior to move in we were promised safety lights would be installed above our unit. We live at the end of a string of of town-homes and our unit is right against the woods. At night it is pitch black and we live the farthest from the parking lot. Every other unit has the lights on top of their apartment but 8 months later we are still waiting for ours to be installed. In addition to our many move in obstacles, we have had countless issues with maintenance and service. I will spare the many details but I will say trying to get an issue resolved in you apartment is like pulling teeth. My roommate once went a month having to use my bathroom because the maintenance team would not come out to fix hers. IF WE WANTED TO SHARE A BATHROOM WE WOULD HAVE SIGNED FOR A CHEAPER UNIT WITH ONLY ONE BATHROOM! The worst part is, management is aware of this situation and has done nothing to compensate us for this inconvenience. We were offered an apology, yet to this day we still have outstanding service requests. Furthermore, we were recently issued an eviction notice, mind you I have NEVER been late on my rent. Fortunately, I retain my payment receipts so I was able to prove my payment. This incident only further exemplifies the level of disorganization this office holds. The manager had the nerve to give the excuse of having to handle over a thousand checks each month. This only tells me this issue could likely occur again and that they have no plan to improve their organization or payment methods. Overall, I have had issue after issue with this apartment complex and I am thoroughly dissatisfied. They claim to be in the process of rebuilding a better community but I don't see how that will occur under disorganized leadership. They are building a community on what appears to be a rocky foundation. September 14, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5?by Don't believe the sales job This place looks good on first pass and what the office staff tells you is very positive. Do not believe it - they don't keep the place up very well. The staff is always nice, but for this rent level, they should do better. Examples: 1. The security gates are almost always open, and when they close, sometimes the fobs they give you to open them don't work. 2. The first grass cutting in spring was so late the grass was a foot high in many areas. 3. They finally trimmed the bushes in mid-June but have not replaced anything that died. 4. They refinished the two tennis courts but didn't put the nets up, so they were useless. They finally put up ONE net but the other is still missing. 5. Just ignore the pitch about three swimming pools, because as of June 13, NONE of them are open. They are "working on it." June 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5?by Constitution Dr was great! We moved here in between selling and buying a house. Josh and the office staff were very accommodating and helpful, everything was clearly explained with no surprises all the way through. Pet friendly with a short term leased worked great for us, and the pools were a wonderful retreat from the summer heat (bonus was that they were rarely crowded). Our apartment had a great location and view on top of the hill, neighbors were very friendly, and the maintenance staff was quick to respond the couple of times things went wrong in our 6 month stay. We will definitely keep Williamsburg on our list if we ever need an apartment again! February 9, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5?by never move here I only lived her 2 years and my rent was raised $200. All in the 2 years of living there my stove broke over 3 times and they would just come do a quick fix and it will break again. My dish washer went out, my refrigerator went made a loud noise and they stuck a nail in it to make it some what quite. My front screen has did not fit the window since i moved in and and when i moved out the charged me. My door was broken when and i moved in and its still broken now! They parking lot has all kinds of holes they call themselves fixing it, but all they did was paint over it! When you call you get the answering service and they took days to call back or didnt call back at all. November 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5?by I Loved living here! AFTER LIVING HERE FOR ALMOST 7 YEARS, I HAD TO MOVE DUE TO MY ILLNESS AND INABILITY TO CARE TOTALLY FOR MYSELF. HOWEVER, IF NOT FOR MY ILLNESS I WOULD STILL BE LIVING HERE. I HAVE SEEN 3 DIFFERENT MANAGEMENTS TAKE OVER AND THIS CURRENT ONE IS THE VERY BEST OF THEM. THE STAFF ARE NICE, COURTEOUS AND CARING. THEY GAVE ME MY VERY OWN HANDICAPPED PARKING SPACE. THEY HAVE REPAIRED, PAINTED & UPDATED THE PROPERTY AND IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL! I WOULD RECOMMEND WILLIAMSBURG TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A NICE APT OR TOWNHOUSE. THANK YOU WILLIAMSBURG FOR SOME WONDERFUL & MEMORABLE YEARS! July 9, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5?by Not bad at all This place has had mixed reviews in the past, some deserved and some not. I have lived here almost 2 months and can see the efforts being made by management to renovate the complex. The new security gates are to be activated next month. I have had no problems and have no complaints and enjoy living at Williamsburg. April 14, 2013
