Rated 1 out of 5?by Mariss Thought it was an amazing building when I first visited. Thought this was such an amazing building when we first visited. After living here for almost two years, I can tell you that the drilling and the back office management are the absolute worst. Not only are the staff in the building office (not the rental office but the Fairmont building management) rude and terrible to deal with but the drilling in the building is borderline unbearable (actually, unbearable). It is virtually impossible to be in the building throughout the day because the noise is so loud. Louder than my television! You can't hear anything when talking on the phone or to another person in your apartment. I have had to leave just to make phone calls to friends and family. Don't even think about attempting to work from home at all. Building management has historically told tenants that this would be temporary but it is well over a year and every time I think it is almost over, it starts up again. This is an absolute nightmare and not worth the rents that they ask in this building. Period. Live somewhere else - you will be happier for it. February 13, 2013
