Rated 1 out of 5?by Jill BEWARE of management! I lived at the opal for the duration of my lease term; 1 year. it was honestly one of the most poorly managed buildings i have lived in. The office staff is incompetent for the most part. Only the assistant manager knows what he is doing there. The female leasing agent is rude and yells at tenants. She very unprofessional and not what a "luxury building" represents. The property manager is always locked in his office and does not want to hear what tenants have to say, so the assistant manager handles everything for the most part. The physical property looks very nice, there are unique amenities and they are well maintained for the most part. The staff at lobby front desk are great guys and will help out when they can. The resident manager is very accomdating and overall a nice guy. The building does have some unsanitary residents so there were reports of mice and bed bugs in some apartments, the exterminator goes to the property once a week. Make sure to read your lease as it will tell you where the bed bugs were located in the building. Due to the management I gave The Opal 1 star. They made living in a luxury building anything but luxurious! September 25, 2013
