Cons
elevators are always breaking down.
cheap floors splinters all the time my kids must wear slippers at all times
cheap cabinets in bath room and kitchen splits easily
amenities are not kept up to standards
rental office staff and mgmt are the worst i have seen
Hurricane reaction was beyond words.....only building in this area who lost power and water for 6 days!!! no power generator in building like most. during this time that"SANDY" hit was the last week in Oct- no heat, no water, no electric, not even elevators( horrible for families with elderly parents and small children) again the only building in this area that had no power and no generator to support the building.
for the money it is not worth it.
turn over at the front desk is crazy every month they are training new people
no door man to open doors so if you young kids in strollers or you go shopping don't expect anyone to open the door for you.
noise from firetrucks all night long even from the floors i lived on 30th and the 38th
also they will keep your deposit so its in your best interest to do a walk through.
i had my rugs cleaned and had my cleaning lady there when we were moving out and they said they were keeping my deposit plus an additional $326 for new carpets and additional cleaning. fighting it as we speak; live in a different apt within the building.
wished we just left at the end of our lease.
