    • Central West End: Central West End has low crime, which makes it a safe neighborhood. Its crime rate is 59 percent lower than the rest of the city. Its housing prices are a bit higher than average, but you pay for the safety that comes with living in this area of town. It also has a ton of restaurants with all types of cuisine to please any palette, and coffee shops and bars galore so you'll always have a place to meet up with your friends.
    • Soulard: Soulard also has a low crime rate compared to the rest of the city. Its crime rate is 52 percent lower than the rest of St. Louis. Its housing prices are also pretty low for the city, so you don't always have to pay for safety. Soulard is considered one of the most unique neighborhoods in St. Louis. It is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, and it has a lot of historic homes along its streets. These are mainly old brick townhomes from the 19th century, and they are beautiful.     St. Louis hosts professional baseball, football, and hockey teams. The St. Louis Cardinals are one of the oldest teams in major league baseball.
