Rated 3 out of 5?by Shady Dealings I just want to start off by saying that I do not and have not ever lived here. And there is good reason. I have recently relocated to St. Louis and Warson was my top choice. When the office girls, who were wonderful and friendly, gave me and a friend a tour we loved the place. The unit we saw was the model and we asked if we could see the three bedroom since that is what we were going to rent, we couldn't see it because the current residents were still living in it. But, she assured us that it would look EXACTLY like the model but with one more bedroom and a basement. We were really excited about it so we filled out our applications and sent in a holding fee. When it came time to move my friend and our roommate wanted to look at the townhouse before we signed the lease and they did. The unit was awful, they said it had a rotten smell to it and was so unlike what we had seen there was no way we could all live there. The "living room" would barely fit a love seat, the "kitchen" was barely that and the "bedrooms" were small and didn't look like they could fit a queen bed, let alone a dresser. After seeing the unit the two told Warson that we would NOT SING THE LEASE and we wanted our holding fee back. They said the could not and we just assumed it was because it had already been cashed and that was that. We got another apartment and didn't have internet for a few weeks. When we finally did get internet I found out that Warson had cashed my holding check TWO WEEKS AFTER we told them we didn't want the apartment. We signed NOTHING we agreed to NOTHING and there were NO stipulation regarding the holding fee that said we could not get it back if we weren't satisfied. What they did was pull a shady move and took advantage of us. They might be good places to live, but they sure aren't honest about how they get you in. June 13, 2013
