Rated 1 out of 5?by Previous Tenant ***CHECK THE REVIEWS OF BIGOS MGMT BEFORE RENTING FROM THEIR PROPERTIES***
I lived at Eden Commons for nearly two years. The first year was great, until BIGOS Management Company took over. I have had NUMEROUS issues since BIGOS took over. 1) I slipped and fell in one of the common areas (front steps outside of my building) due to no sand or salt being put down after a snowfall, which resulted in an ER visit and stitches. When I asked management how many other cases they had today they replied with ?a few?. This place would not pay for my medical bills or lost wages because ?they weren?t liable and have 10 hours to de-ice?. 2) VERY expensive for what you get. I lived in the smallest floor plan available (less than 700 sq ft and it's nearly $1000!) and they WILL raise your rent after the first year. 3) Awful fitness room, one elliptical, two treadmills, and one "Multi-Station" piece of equipment. I wouldn?t recommend going while the sun is up because you will never get a machine. When management was asked if they would be updating anytime soon they replied with ?it was recently updated?4) they come into your apartment at least once a month. In the last 6 months, they have come into my apartment 3 times alone to change the air filter, at no convenience to their tenants, when I called to see if they could schedule an appointment or at the very least give me a warning (as I work the night shift) they said no. To summarize, I would not recommend living in this complex or any other managed by BIGOS Management and I have since moved, solely due to their poor management. They have an ?I don?t care? attitude, and own 15 properties around Minnesota. ?Beach South at the Lake? in Robbinsdale. ?Be at the Calhoun Greenway? in Minneapolis. ?Cedars Lakeside? in Little Canada. ?Evans Meadows? in Elk River. ?Galtier Towers? in St. Paul. ?Hamline Terrace? in Roseville. ?Heritage Place? in Rogers. ?Hidden Valley Estates? in Savage. ?Kellogg Square? in St. Paul. ?Lenox Place? in Duluth. ?Lou Park? in St. Louis Park. ?Lowertown Lofts? in St. Paul. ?MacLaren Hill? in St. Paul & ?Mallard Creek? in Golden Valley.

Rated 2 out of 5?by Oldrenter Okay
This place is okay. I moved out a few months ago for a variety of reasons. 1. This place is very over priced for what you get, but i guess that is somewhat understandable for what the rental market is like right now. 2. Appliances are newer but literally walk into an appliance store and go to the section with cheapest possible appliances, and that is what you have. 3. Fitness room is a joke, everything is old and when something breaks it takes months for it to fix, plus its small. 4. Newer management staff that doesnt really seem to care about any problems you have with your unit. 5. They will bump you rent up almost 80- 100 bucks after your first year, try to talk to them about it and they will not budge. Place is fine if you just graduate college and need a place to stay for a year, but forget about it for long term, One positive is it is extremely quiet. But that just could be because had nice neighbors.

Rated 1 out of 5?by Disappointed multi year res No loyalty
Be wary of this apartment complex. First year promotions will lure you in and then rent will dramatically increase when it's time to renew. With very little notice and time to plan for other options. Every weekend there is new people moving in because management would rather replace the residents than try to keep decent renters.
