Ratings & Reviews

Rated 2.7 out of 5?by 3 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5?by Not worth it The main reason I am writing this review is to comment about the office staff. They are incredibly rude. The apartment itself is great but I'm leaving due to their obnoxious behavior. I was recently hung up on by one of the members. They have condescending attitudes and talk down to residents whom they believe are below them. The thing is I come off friendly, I never make problems with anyone so I don't understand why they think this is acceptable. I'm just giving everyone out there a warning before they decide to live in Campus Court. July 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5?by I'm happy with my experience Ok first before I start my reviews I would like to start by saying, no I do not work for the Campus Court Office, nor have I been asked to write this review. I am writing this on account I want to share my experience so far at Campus Court since it generally doesn't get the credit it fully deserves on these sites. I have been living in Campus Court for 2 years now. I started with a 2 bedroom and I now live in the larger one bedroom option. Like many I came into Campus Court a little worried after reading some of the reviews online. I was expecting to run into problems with bills, payments, maintenance, etc... however none of these have been a problem for me the two years I have been here. The office staff have gone above and beyond in my experience to help me. Sharon, the manager, has especially been extremely helpful to both me and my family whenever we spoke to her. Unlike many independent apartment complex's if you have roommate issue's Campus Court will actually work with you to fix them or let you transfer to another unit. They are pretty flexible. I have also found maintenance to be extremely helpful. Unless it's turnover in the summer, they respond pretty quickly to requests and generally get the job done without a problem arising again. James in particular in maintenance has been extremely helpful in helping me with small things in my apartment. I am not a handy person at all, so the fact maintenance will actually take the time to help me hang things in my apartment means a lot. They have really allowed me to make my apartment my own. Like anywhere at the end of the day if you treat the staff with respect, they will do the same for you. As far as amenities, I think Campus Court has the nicest and best amenities in the area. The kitchens are spacious and nice, and the rooms are a good size compared to most sizes you're going to find right on campus. Some people complain that they think the apartments are overpriced, but compared to where I am originally from Campus Court apartments are a steal! You can definitely find bigger apartments for cheaper off campus, but I have found those not to have as nice of an up-keeping as Campus Court. Being right next to the campus is also a huge perk to this location, whenever it's snowing and you don't want to deal with driving your car to class you can easily just walk there in 10 minutes. Not to mention you are close walking distance to 7-11, Grotto, Campus Kitchen The Mix, etc.... The only downside I would say to Campus Court is at certain times of the year it can get a little loud, but this is going to be expected with any college apartment. During the winter I have found this to be less of a problem. Occasionally also some of the kids tend not to pick up after themselves or their dogs so that can be agitating, however this is a resident issue, not a staff issue. Staff have found ways to force people to pick up after themselves by increasing security and the consequences if someone is caught doing these things. Overall, I have been really happy with my experience at Campus Court. They have been able to provide me with a place I can call my home away from home. I'm definitely going to miss having an apartment like this when I move back home and pay double for something half the size of these. I definitely recommend checking Campus Court out. Rated 2 out of 5?by Parking! After i signed the lease i found that? Guests are not allowed to park inside the complix and that they have to park in wmu parking which is almost a mile far or more, also they will need to have a card to hang on their car so that it dont get towed and when i asked if i can have more than one guest card they said no and that am allowed one ever month!! and their excuse is so stupid they say some western students park here and walk to the Western Michigan University!!thats a lie western got alot of parking and thats not? a reason to ban us the right to have guests. if u have a problem with illegal parkers go and install a gate and put a security gard like copper beach. i hope they change this stupid rule soon or i swear i wont renew next year and ill spread the word.
