I have lived at Hidden Lakes for about seven years. The thing I love most is the property. The office staff and the maintenance staff are just awful! The thing that gets me the most is that they just don't care about you or your problems at all. The apartments are old and not in good shape at all, you have to beg maintenance to get anything done. However the price every lease goes up. If there is one thing you can count on its the price going up. I understand things go up in price, but its interesting to me that in seven years I haven't had a lease ever stay the same or go down, it never happens. They raise your price, but give you nothing in return. I guess do to the housing crisis they can take advantage of you, they know we have no choice, its just a shame the ones of us who have been here so long, get nothing for our loyalty. not even kindness or care out of the office staff, and the fact that a company of this size, don't even give you the ability to pay your rent online is crazy. the only bill I have all month, I have to write a check for, its crazy, but the one good thing we have is the location and the property, and maybe one day a miracle will happen and we will have a lease that wont go up in price, NOT!!, don't you like how they use to let you sign two year leases, and now, they wont, so they can raise your rent, every year now, the sad thing is, hidden lakes with all the problems, is still better than the competition. this is sad., I feel bad for the older neighbors who tell me they are going to be priced out of here, who have been here for a long time, its just not fair to them. ok that is all I have to say for now, bye now

Rated 4 out of 5?by renter820 Nice but overpriced
I have lived here for 2 years. My rent just increased $130/month with only about 45 days worth of warning before the end of my lease. My appliances are old. Carpet throughout... certainly a nice apartment, but not LUXURY like the price may suggest. Walls are thin, so you can hear neighbors clearly. Keep your fingers crossed you get good neighbors. Maintenance is always fast and friendly. Office staff has been a revolving door. Don't ever pay rent late... it will COST you.
