Finding Apartments for Rent in Gretna, LA
The City of Gretna, Louisiana is a suburb of New Orleans. On a map, Gretna clearly lies to the south of New Orleans and on the opposite bank of the Mississippi River. But locally, everyone takes their bearings from the river, and however much the river twists and turns, its banks are always “east” and “west.” As residents of Gretna and New Orleans say, Gretna is “on the Westbank.”
Broadly speaking, for apartment living in Gretna, there are two ways to play, “incorporated Gretna” and “Timberlane,” to put it one way, or “express” and “golf,” to put it another.
