Ratings & Reviews

Rated 3.3 out of 5?by 4 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5?by Just don't put yourself through it The location is fantastic, as are most the the amenities offered. Unfortunately, it is not worth putting up with a nonexistence maintenance, and an office staff that is even worse. I never thought I would have to deal with a staff that's extremely rude, and uninformed. I enjoy my apartment, but for the price I'm paying...just not worth it. April 4, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5?by It isn't worth it The office staff is extremely lazy and rarely have answers to any question you have. For example, if the power goes out or the wifi isn't working, don't bother calling and asking them any kind of status update on when the issue will be resolved because 9/10 times they are clueless. The maintenance staff is better than the office staff in the sense that when they finally get to your apartment to fix whatever is broken, they are good about making sure it is fixed. It can take them sometimes more than a week to finally get to you though. This can be problematic when things like your garbage disposal break and your sink clogs up. The location is awesome. You're right in the middle of everything. You have great places to eat within walking distance, and you're basically on-campus. Amenities are about the same as every other apartment complex in the area. The noise can be an issue. You'll have people mowing the grass or blowing leaves at 7 or 8 in the morning which can be really annoying if you don't have class till 10 and didn't go to bed until 2 or 3. There is also a street cleaner that comes clean the parking lot by buffalo wild wings just about every night at 3 or 4 in the morning that is extremely loud. My roommate used to have to sleep with earplugs because it would keep her up half the night. Overall, for the amount you pay for this place (anywhere from $700-$1000 a month# it is not as pleasant to live here as it should be at such a high price. The wifi will sometimes go out for over 24-48 hours at a time and the office staff gives no indication as to when it will be fixed #nor do they inform you that it is out). There have been several times where the fire alarm will go off in the middle of the night and not get shut off for 1-2 hours. You call the staff to see when they are going to be shut back off and of course they are clueless. Any time the power could potentially go out, it will. It was out for 3 days when a "hurricane" hit Louisiana in the fall of 2012, no one else in Baton Rouge lost power. The power has gone out at random times for up to 3 hours and they have no explanation as to why. This can be really frustrating, especially when you look outside and see tiger stadium lit up like a Christmas tree and its not even half a mile away. I lived at this place for 3total years, and it was the same thing all 3years. The only reason I stayed as long as I did is because I didn't want to go through the hassle of moving all of my stuff to a new place and the only other places I would have been interested in living in were too expensive. If you like the location, go for it. Just ask yourself if these are things you're going to be able to deal with. Because I can promise you, they will happen. February 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5?by Great Staff, A Nice Pleace The location is fantastic for someone who works/is a student at LSU and it's a comfortable place to live. December 6, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5?by Very nice place, excellent location The Venue is an excellent place to live largely because it has a lot to offer. Its location to campus allows me to get to my class within 10 minutes walking distance. The parking garage is also great, although altogether it can be a little pricy. The area is nice and very convenient to food and campus. October 27, 2012
