The manager is so nice and my maintenance requests were always taken care of immediately. This was a great place to live and I highly recommend living here. February 12, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5?by Highly disappointed! These apartments are not suitable for the amount of rent charged. They fix as little as possible, giving you poor excuses for your concerns. When I expressed things that needed fixed, I was told to get a lawyer if I was that worried about it. Management is unhelpful and unkind. The quality of the place is poor at best. I will never let anyone I know move into this place, if I can stop it. Do yourself a favor and live in any place but here. November 14, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5?by This Apartment is NASTY whatever you do dont move into these apartments im now locked into a lease, but the manager is rude and never calls back when you have issues or questions, she just sends the matience guy over. the halls are gross and dirty. i hate these apartments they are the worse place that ive ever lived in ! and i will be contacting the city about them! ive never been in a place were i hate coming home! Rated 5 out of 5?by Best value in this great location! The apartments and buildings are very well maintained and seem new. Apartments are nicely designed and bright and cheery -- nicer than higher priced units that I checked out nearby. Pets are allowed (added fees for pets, as usual). Everyone is friendly, even their dogs. Location is ideal, right next to the beautiful walking paths through Greenway Park. Close to the library, shopping, Hy Vee, grade school, and services. This area of Altoona gives a small city welcoming feeling so close to all the benefits that the Des Moines area can offer. Bridlewood's professional staff is responsive and capable. Noise is the usual neighborhood noise you get in any community of active people and makes you feel right at home. November 4, 2012
