Rated 1 out of 5?by Chrissy lazy maintence and mold.

We moved here last year of 2012, this apartment complex is owned by a corporate office but only run by a married couple both being in there 60's who reside on the premises. The wife runs the office and the husband "maintains" maintenance. If your looking for a apartment complex that does maintenance.. then do not come here!! Upon moving in- during move-in inspection we were given promises that were not kept, one being new cabinets due to peeling wood and a new stove because the stove only worked on the high setting. They do not have emergency maintenance here, our refrigerator stopped working on a Saturday night, having a 8 month old baby whos bottles were needing to stay refrigerated, i had my husband run down and tell them our fridge needs to be fixed, he told us we were out of luck that he wasn't going to do anything until Monday. Also giving our previous maintenance request that did not assure us that he would even be here on Monday, generally your maintenance order will be fixed within two-four weeks. Our shower was leaking down stairs for two weeks and we were not aware of this until our neighbor told us about it, needless to say the floor of my closet was soaked, they did not clean up in the walls from the shower leak causing mold build up behind the tiles. Now every two weeks I have black mold build up in my shower from it contentiously growing behind the tiles. After the first 3 months of living here, some tried to sifer gas out of my vehicle. The children in the community are rambunctious, I've caught them several times playing foot ball around the vehicles. Their amenities are horrible, cracked unattended tennis court, a valley ball net directly beside the parking lot and a fitness center that it NEVER cleaned and half the machines do not work. Upon looking for a new place to live, I was a pointed that my lease was the be renewed soon, first i was told it would increase $10, the following week $15 then finally I was told $25 because "their water bill and light bill increased". Water is understandable, but the power bill shouldn't be my problem, I pay then rent as it is that they never use to put back into the apartment, but to tell me that I have to also pay on their power will is ridiculous, their power bill consists of the leasing office, club house that they do not let tenants use and a fitness center than is the size of my bathroom. I do not use any of these amenities, there-fore i should not have to pay for their power bill in my opinion. I do not recommend living here.
