Rated 2 out of 5?by Not what it looks like in the pictures We visited Pebblebrook, it was our first apartment in the CT area that we saw, never pick your first look, there was so much better. They did not show us an apartment that we would be renting they showed us a sample apartment, even though the rooms were nice, the kitchen was very small, I was taller than the fridge, the only thing you could see out of all the windows was the pool and the cupboards looked very 70's. We then went for a tour, the hallways were carpeted and not clean and you can smell everyones food cooking which was horrible and kids screaming from some apartments. The laundry room was in the basement, there were lots of washer and dryers but the place was filthy. The gym was the size of an apartment and there was water all over the floor that the lady had to clean up while she showed it to us (thus wondering why did not clean it up) plus it smelled like BO really bad. I did not feel safe in this building and it definalty did not feel like it could be my home. I was not thrilled about having to take my laundry down four floors plus if we had visitors we would have to go and let them in instead of buzzing them up. March 22, 2013
