When I was looking around for apartments this place seemed great because the model home was beautiful and the amenities, such as the pool and the gym, were a great bonus. My opinion has changed drastically over the last two years. This place is way over-priced for what you get. First, the model apartment is not exactly like what you actually get; it is larger and has more upgraded appliances. If you are considering this place, do not be fooled by the model. I had already signed a lease before I got to lay my eyes on my actual apartment and it was a huge disappointment. Second, the staff is extremely rude (except the maintenance man who is very nice) and do not know the facts of the lease which makes it very difficult to talk to them about. Also, the staff really doesn't care about your living experience. The woman that lives above me stomps on the floor whenever I shut a door or pound poultry or steak on my counter. She made my life a living nightmare and the office said "you are just going to have to get used to living in an apartment". They eventually did something, four months later, when the maintenance man came to fix something, he heard it and could attest for me that it was a problem. Last thing about the apartments; it seems like they are made of cardboard. I can hear my neighbors downstairs talking, I can track the movements of my neighbor upstairs because I can hear it through the ceiling (I feel like it is going to crash down on me at any minute), and when someone slams their door I can actually feel it!
