There are also ferries. The San Francisco Bay Ferry runs out of Alameda and Oakland and will drop you off at places like The Embarcadero in San Francisco or Angel Island. That is not to say that there are not great places to eat in San Lorenzo, CA only that the selection is much more diverse in the surrounding communities. What is available are Chinese and Asian style restaurants, Pizza places and fast food restaurants. One of our favorite places to eat is Favorite Indian Restaurant on Mission Blvd in Hayward. It is ten minutes away, and the price is outstanding and the food is even better. For everything else, we use the San Lorenzo Food Delivery & Takeout service.
Because San Lorenzo is small, most people who live here commute elsewhere for work. It is simpler to just enjoy dining where you work, especially if you are single.
