Rated 5 out of 5?by Foolin' In the LBC Awesome Place to Live!!
Seaport Village Apartment Homes is probably the best place to live in Long Beach. Despite what you hear about North Long Beach I can assure you that Seaport is the place to live, there is no equal. The first week I lived here my speakers died but as it turns out I didn't even need them. The constantly pounding bass from the ghetto wagons driving through the complex made the loss of my speakers much easier. Right after I moved in I decided that I didn't need my cable anymore because the neighbors screaming at each other proved to be better than any reality show on cable. When I moved here people thought I was out of my mind moving to North Long Beach, I have to admit that I feel very safe at Seaport. The almost constant Police presence is very reassuring, no matter what time I happen to leave my apartment I know I can count on at least one Police cruiser to be in the complex. Seaport has proved to be an economical place to live, not only is the rent affordable but I save tons of money on gas because I can walk right next door to score my weed. Seaport definitely has some of the best smoke I have ever gotten and the prices are reasonable for the bags you get. The amenities offered by Seaport are almost too many to mention. The gym is amazing! When I'm in there it reminds me of all the episodes of Lock-Up that I used to watch on cable. In addition the multiple swimming pools are refreshing on those hot summer days. Word of advice though, try and get there before the oily film of mid-day turns the pool into a health hazard. I was sure to get all my immunizations updated well before the summer heat hit so I wouldn't miss even one morning in the pool. The maintenance crew is top notch and take extra special care of my place because everything has broken, the stove, the plumbing, the toilet, you name it, it broke. When the toilet needed to be replaced that was an easy fix because the bathroom door had already fallen off making it easier for the guys to get in and out. The spindly blonde woman in the managers office is so friendly that you almost think she is being fake, her overly enthusiastic attitude is one that should be adopted by anyone who deals with the public. In closing, there really is no better rental option in all of Long Beach. Take it from someone who lives here this is as close to perfection as you can get :)
