Ratings & Reviews

Rated 3.6 out of 5?by 5 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5?by Management hangs on the coattails of the owner I have lived here long enough to speak objectively. On-site management at the property lacks any sense of leadership and integrity. When attempting to address a problem with Barbara, she will sit and listen and agree with every word you say. Then she will promptly ignore and brush off your entire request. Maintenance issues are not cared for quickly, if they are even addressed at all. Barbara's favorite response to a situation that will be ignored is, "The part is being ordered." The maintenance staff are a motley crew of high school drop-outs with no formal mechanical/electrical/plumbing training. Repairs are not completed to actually fix the problem, merely to put a band-aid on the issue. There is no enforcement of any property policy. There is a written no smoking policy. Hallways are constantly filled with smoke odor, and cigarette butts litter the ground outside doors because there is no groundskeeper to maintain them. If you complain to Barbara about someone smoking, she will make an excuse and brush you off. Barbara is a very nice lady, but as a manager, she is obsolete. She gets to live on-site in a much larger apartment in exchange for working the office, when she is available. The rent is cheap, and most apartments are clean and safe. The appliances work well, and people are for the most part good neighbors, but take advantage of the month to month contract, and then move somewhere worth your money. December 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5?by Apartments Are Amazing I had set up an appointment to view one of the units at Lake Murray Villas and fell in love. The complex is well kept, that is somewhere I see myself living in a few months if they have some vacancies. December 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5?by 4+ years, great place to live Been living here since 2010 and absolutely love it. Rent is on a monthly basis, but it's only been increased once (by $25) in the 4 years I've been living here. Pros: - Quiet, I never hear neighbors through walls (tvs, music, nothing). Only if they are in their patios but, other than that, nothing. - Excellent location. Extremely close to Grossmont College and San Diego State University, also close to Grossmont Center (shopping, Walmart, Target), and grocery stores. Easy to get around in bike, bus, or even foot. - The area is very safe, you're mostly surrounded by houses, a very residential area. The parking is also gated at night, which is a plus. Cons: - If you have more than 1 car, you'd have to park in the street. I'd say about a 2-5 minute walk, depending on how far inside the complex you live. - Parking isn't assigned, but there will always be a spot, regardless of how late at night. You might just have to park a bit farther than right in front of your apt, not a big deal. - Staff is friendly. I've never really had to talk to them much, nothing really breaks and I haven't had any complaints. But, when needed, they're always around and available. I highly recommend it, it's a great place to live if you're looking for a quiet place with great location. July 11, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5?by Remove your advertising banner I visited this property one afternoon. The property itself seemed to be well maintained, the public areas were clean, parking is NOT clearly marked, the rental office was unoccupied with no notice to advise where staff could be. I called the number on the bottom of the notice and was rudely informed "We're not renting" this even though there's a banner hanging from a balcony stating the opposite. Today, June 11th, that banner is still in place, but I will never return. June 10, 2014
