We've been here for almost a year and are looking for a new place before our lease is up. Alot of these people that live over here are nasty. They will throw there trash off the balcony (last week there was watermelon rinds and all sorts of stuff that I saw flying down and being swept off of the balcony (I could hear the broom). There is even a dog park that is never used. Watch out for landmines aka dog poo everywhere. We came here because they have a gym and pool. Neither of which or operable. The gym hasn't been open since we've been here, and the pool stays shut down during the summer (they don't open it until June and close it in Sept) because the filth of people letting their dogs in there, etc. I heard that the pool on the parkside is littered with food, bottles, etc and right now it is GREEN. They don't even cover the thing up when it's not in use. The siding came off of our building and they haven't even fixed it. There is litter everywhere. They have lawn maintenance come out and just blow debris and trash off the breezeway but don't pick up the litter. I have work orders in maintenance that have not been completed for months, but when I log into my acct they say completed. There is not overhead lighting, the paint jobs is terrible, there is overspray on everything, even hair in the wall paint. They also use flat paint on the walls, so forget about it if you have small children, such as ourselves. The office staff acts all friendly when you're looking at the apt but after you move in they're anything but. The turnover in employees speaks volumes. Today, I found a tow notice on my car just because it has a flat. Which somebody decided to slash my tires, btw. There is alot of crime that is not reported to us which I heard about after the fact. You're not supposed to have grills but I smell people grilling out all of the time. I am just waiting for my unit to catch on fire from some idiot. There are lots of rules in the lease that aren't enforced. I have complained many times about the door slamming and loud music that goes on in here. I have even had to call the cops a few times due to the domestic disputes that go on downstairs and for loud music and partying at 3 AM on the weekends. If you have pride for where you live, this isn't the place to be. We paid extra for the "newly remodeled unit" and it is anything but. The air wasn't blowing from the vents in our unit and when my husband removed the painted over vent, there was mold in every room in the ventilation. The gazebo needs a paint job and the tennis court is overrun by the daycare that is on our same block. Kids run wild and I am pretty sure there is drug dealing and buying going on here, too. I have witnessed the cops here far too often. Stay away!
